This is getting UNBELIEVABLE! I told ya'll! In all honesty, we can not book any more shows for the time being because we had another show going to be announced. Well, we do. With the signing of Pachuco's in Middleton, we are the hottest fastest growing karaoke company in Madison, Wi. Rock-N-Freaking-Roll. Folks, it is only because of you! We have booked now 3 of our regular scheduled shows through personal referrals that have seen the quality and energy that we put into a show. And it could not be done without you! Thank you folks. Now it is time to PARTY! 2008.06.23B - Another New Show Added And Over 200 Songs Added To The Books Get Ready Marshall! The Sherriff is back in town and ready to Rock-N-Roll ;)! To see all of our new music added, just click on the link below for a listing of our whole library. 2008.06.23 - Customer Appreciation Party Change, Two New Shows Added, And Karaoke Contest Announcement First of all, we have one change to the Customer Appreciation Party. For several reasons, we have changed the location of the Customer Appreciation Party to Rev. Jim's Roadhouse instead of the farm. One, we will not have to worry about rain out's. Secondly, this will mark our one year anniversary of doing shows at Rev. Jim's Roadhouse. So, because of all that, we have decided to move it out to RHI. Make sure ya'll come on out to help us celebrate our first year in business. Now, we have added two more Wednesday night shows. We will be out at Rev. Jim's Roadhouse on Wednesday's again with a DJ show. We will be running from 7 till 11 for Bike Nights. Secondly, we have a HUGE announcement. Coming in September we will be having a traveling Karaoke Contest. Details for Cowboy Jim's Karaoke Idol Contest are in the works, but to say the least, we are looking at prize money in the neighborhood of around $1000-$1500. Not to shabby for a karaoke contest, huh? Well, keep your eyes glued to the #1 Karaoke show in Madison for more details! 2008.06.18 Jimmy Buffett, Celine, Trace Adkins, AND THE PARTY ROLLS ON... And it did.....It was like the last two weeks never skipped a beat between 'em. As you read last week, it was a great week for the week prior. And believe it or not, this past week was even better. We started at the Hody on Tuesday, and ran all the way through Sunday. The Hody -- Well, what can I say. Each week it seems to get better and better. Saw a several of repeat offenders (errr, karaoke singers) and several brand new singers. Each week here, we get the party going a little earlier in the night. I posted a comment about this bar on its account here on MadTownLounge.com and it is all true. This place is run so professionally. It is not even funny. Great venue, but what do you expect from Cowboy Jim's Shows. We only work the best :D. All of them! That takes us to Wednesdays show. We did not attend that one (we decided to give DJ Heather a little room), but it is also growing. But a very late crowd. We need ya'll to come on down earlier and get the party rocking earlier. So, come on on out and help support DJ Heather. Now, Thursday night has been really consistant growing. This was one of those shows that just takes some patience and let it grow, and it has been doing that. We had some great singers out there this last week, to the tune of about 17 singers at one point. Not bad at all. Some good times are in the future for this show. Between The Hody and Paul's, Cowboy Jim and his Posse are going to be the show to be at in Middleton, Wi! :D Friday Night was the usual Rocking Crowd in Lake Mills Wi. Micheal Ray was bringing it, Stephanie was rocking the house, and Joe, Jeremy, and everyone else just brought it as usual. Between Middleton and Lake Mills, I get exhausted every freaking week. To the point that Sunday's are my day for sleep cause of the very hectic and Awesome schedule that we have. Thanks again to the Lake Mills crowd. Do Not Ever Change....except to bring your friends out :D. That takes us to Saturday. Saturday was a little special in the fact that we had pretty much all of my immediate family down for the show. They were in town for my son's surpise birthday party. So, we had the whole gang down there for atleast a small portion of the show if not a good portion of it. They came from places like California, Tennessee, North Carolina, Milwaukee. So, it was quite the party not to mention the crowd that we had out there was just fabulous. That brings us to the close of the public shows. It was the BEST week that we have had since starting this back in April of last year. I am pinching myself cause of the success that we have seen in such a short period of time. To the point that we had two calls in the last several days of potential shows, one of which is coming down to the Thurs night show to check us out. In which we were referred by someone that had simply seen our show. Folks, there is a reason why we are the Hottest Karaoke Show in Madison. That is because of ya'll. Thank You Thank You Thank You! Keep it rocking! Sunday was the close of the week with a private show for my son's birthday party. By the way, How do you know that someone does not like a surprise party without blowing the surprise? Well, that was about it for the week, and I hope and pray that this week is just as good if not even better. Adios Amigos! 2008.05.19A Capital Newspapers We are very pleased to be able to say that Capital Newspapers has agreed in part to give us assitance with the Locks Of Love Event. That is such huge news for us, and we are very happy to have them come on board. PLUS, later on this afternoon we are most likely going to have another show to announce. Rock-n-roll! LOCKS OF LOVE BENEFIT ANNOUNCEMENT Cowboy Jim and his posse will be holding a benefit to support the organization Locks of Love. More information is to come, but check the tentative scheduled date of Friday Oct. 24th for more information! Show is going to be at Rev. Jim's Roadhouse near Dejope bingo in Madison, Wi. A website for the benefit is in the works of being developed. On this website you will be able to sign up to donate your hair at the show and if all goes well, be able to make secure online donations that will be distributed by a local accounting firm. CUSTOMER APPRECIATION PARTY ANNOUNCED To thank you for your support, Cowboy Jim would like to invite all to a customer appreciation party at his farm in Stoughton (roughly 5 miles from Rev. Jim's Roadhouse) Camping will be available. Just bring yourself, friends and family, a dish to pass (optional), and your party attitude. Karaoke and DJ all day and into the night. Starting at Noon on Saturday August 9th. Rain date is Aug 23rd. So, come on out and help us celebrate what ya'll have done for our shows!Directions to the farm will be posted sometime in July BTW, we have had TREMENDOUS support. Not quite sure where it has come from, but we were the NUMBER ONE band on Madtownlounge in the month of March. I do see quite a bit of traffic to all the sites from our ads on Madtown and our google ads. So that may contribute to the success, but man, it is not all that.
